Walking in My Purpose

Ever feel overwhelmed in life?  Like you just can’t take anymore?  Like you are about to explode?  Or Like you are totally stressed out?  I have.  Actually, I have been feeling like that a lot over the last couple of weeks.  The stress of life was eating me alive, because I was outside the will of my Heavenly Father.

The scripture says, “The blessing of YAHWEH makes rich and adds no sorrow,” yet I found myself sorrowful day after day.  Not because I wasn’t making enough money to make ends meet, or because I wasn’t able to get everything done in a day that I needed to, but because I was doing things that I felt like I needed to do without first seeking my Heavenly Father.

I had taken things out of HIS hands and put them into my hands and we all know that our bodies, minds, etc. are not meant to handle all the things of this earth.  No, I’m not saying we are wimps or we haven’t been given ability and power from on high, but what I am saying is we were not designed to handle stress, that’s why the word says, “Cast your cares on Him, for he cares for you.  His yoke is easy and his burden is light.”  We are not created to worry, or be anxious, or worn out with the cares of this word.  We are created to fulfill the plan and purpose that the Heavenly Father has for our lives and when we are not doing that, things start to feel stressful.

Now, I in no way think that we are going to live a life free of any worry, stress, or fear, but I know many times in my case, I have added to the stress by doing things my way.

I had to learn to let go of some things and trust my Heavenly Father that he would take care of me.  We say we trust him, but that’s easy to say when we are still making all the decisions.  Let’s try to say that when we are releasing our lives to him, totally submitting, and relaxing in HIM.

I am now working on this day by day.  I feel a sense of relief now knowing that I don’t have to be concerned about doing it all myself, but I can give it to YAHWEH, and he will handle it.  I mean, can the creator of the earth and all other things not handle our little problems?

I suggest you try it.  You might actually find yourself at total peace and enjoying yourself in HIS promises.
