Hey Divas! Have you ever experienced an appointment that you knew was Divine? I did. On last night, I got a message that I knew was just for me. I have been tossing around the idea of opening a Consignment/Thrift Shop for quite some time, but I was making it so hard. I was stagnating, procrastinating, and just plain being comfortable. My mouth said I wanted to go to the next level, but my actions to get me there didn’t line up.
Destiny met, Dun-Dun-Duuuun… last night and it gave me that extra push I needed to move forward. I then got a message about grace. It related to how a Master hired a workman for a full day’s work for a penny, then 3 hours into the job he went out looking for other employees, then 5 hours in, and even the last hour of the job was still hiring. When it was time to get paid, he paid everybody the same amount. Those who worked the full day thought they should get more money, but the Master reminded them they agreed to work for that amount. Now, the workers that only worked 1 hour got the exact same pay. This is where the grace comes in. The Master can do whatever HE wants to. HE can bless who HE wants to and it doesn’t always have to do with who works the longest and hardest. Sometimes, it’s just because HE wants to!
You can either spin your wheels by trying to figure out how to make things work through your own power, ability, etc. or you can depend on grace to provide that extra help, unmerited, and unearned favor that can only come from the Heavenly Father!
So now Divas you may be asking, “How does this apply to me?” The thing about grace is it doesn’t discriminate. The same grace that is allowing me to pursue my passions will allow you to pursue yours! Make a decision today to succeed! Don’t allow a change in the political scene to make you afraid of achieving your dreams. Don’t hold back on your passions. Don’t allow family, friends, environment, circumstances, or anything else to keep you from living out YOUR passions and fulfilling YOUR purpose.
You may have only been in business for 1 year, but that doesn’t mean your business can’t be a multimillion dollar machine at the end of 3 years and you may have only 3 customers today, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have 3,000 by this time next year!
I have decided to kick it up another notch as it relates to The Discount Diva ®brand and fully walk in my passion. I am going to do everything I can (through grace) to teach people about budgeting, costs cutting, saving, getting the “Best for Less,” building wealth, and “Getting Their Gucci Without Getting Gotcha” because that is what I am created to do and from this day forward, I want you to do everything you can to do what you are created for and fulfill your destiny too!
So no more excuses, you have grace!
